Today is Small Business Saturday, a day started in 2010 to promote small 'ma and pop' businesses. We all love the quickness and convenience of the Amazon's and Wal-Mart's of the world, but the backbone of this country is and has always been the hard working men and women that simply grind it out everyday trying to put food on their tables.

By now, most of our customers know that we are not a huge company. We're not Nike or No Bull. We don't sponsor dozens of athletes. We don't have massive warehouses. We someday hope to graduate from our "warehouse" in my basement, but for now we have what we need to make this business work.

There are mainly 3 of us that run this business on a day to day basis: Jason Y, Jason T, and John. We're a small but scrappy group. Between the three of us, we handle all the product design, manufacturing, order fulfillment, and customer service. We also travel to local and national competitions to setup our booth. We love what we do.

Last year there was nearly $18 billion dollars spent on Small Business Saturday. We had an ultra small piece of that pie last year, and we hope to have a slightly bigger piece this year (hint, hint) :-)
